- Turn on the computer and wait till Windows XP has finished booting.
- Click Start
- Go to Control Panel
- If you have Category View, Click Network and Internet Connections
- Click Network Connections
- Click Create a new connection
- Click Next
- Choose Connect to the network at my workplace and Click Next
- Choose Dialup connection and click Next
- Type NextWeb Dial-Up in the Company Name field
- Type one of our Dial-Up numbers such as 21884721 in the Phone
Number field and click Next
- Dial-Up Telephone Numbers :

- Tick the Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop field
- Click Finish
- Go to the Desktop
- Double Click on the icon Shortcut to NextWeb Dial-Up
- Enter your username in the Username field
- Enter your password in the Password field
- Click on Connect
- Modem should initialize, dial, connect to NextWeb and Handshake.
Note that both Username and Password should be typed in lowercase.
- When connected, click on the Start button.
- Click on the Internet Explorer Icon.
- Go to our Homepage by typing in the following URL in the Address
field :
http://www.nextweb.net.mt – The NextWeb Welcome Screen
should appear.
- Updated News, E-mail and other settings are available in the
Support section of our website. These are required for efficient
use.
